Prof. ND. Wickramasinghe, and former Prof. C. Jayasumana, Rajarata University`s researchers has been honored by listing their name in the World Top 2% Scientist List in 2023 by Stanford University. Furthermore, five alumni of the University secured the place in the list. Prof. ND. Wickramasinghe is a professor in the Department of Community Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Allied Sciences. Former Prof. C. Jayasumana and the six alumni were listed in the World Top 2% Scientists list for the third consecutive year.
