Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office
The Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, acts as the industry’s gateway to innovations at RUSL. We aim to collaborate with government and private sector industries to commercialize RUSL innovations and inventions of research outcomes, as well as to address issues of the industry to develop the social and economic growth of the country. Also, KTTO supports the community by providing Intellectual Property protection assistance.
The establishment of the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (KTTO) Cell is a necessary step in implementing the UGC Circular 10/2016 in the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka with the support from the Accelerating Higher Education Expansion and Development (AHEAD) Project. In effect, the KTTO Cell functions as the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) of the RUSL.
