The Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, in collaboration with the Bank of Ceylon, Super Grade Branch, Anuradhapura, successfully organized a workshop on Climate, Business & Leadership on 22nd June 2026 at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka.

The workshop aimed to promote environmental consciousness and climate action among university students. The programme focused on environmental conservation, climate change awareness, waste management, sustainable practices, and inspiring young people to become environmental leaders within their communities.

The session was facilitated by Mr. Hasanka Padukka, an environmental innovator, social entrepreneur, and climate leadership trainer. The event was attended by undergraduate students representing different faculties of the university, along with several academic staff members.

The workshop provided participants with valuable insights into current environmental challenges and the role of leadership and innovation in addressing climate-related issues. It also encouraged students to adopt sustainable practices and contribute actively to building a more environmentally responsible society.
