Mr. S. S. K. Godakumbura graduated from University of Kelaniya with a Bachelor of Business Management (Accountancy) Special degree in 2000. In 2021, he graduated from Sri Lanka’s Wayamba University with a Master of Business Administration. He began working for the University Grants Commission in the year 2008 as a Senior Assistant Accountant. In 2012, he began working as a Senior Assistant Bursar at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, and in 2022, he was promoted to the position of Deputy Bursar. Prior to his appointment as the university’s bursar on September 1, 2023, he held the position of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka’s acting bursar.
