75th Anniversary – Inspiring the Next Generation

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka conducted a special outreach program at the Faculty of Management Studies Auditorium, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, on 6th August 2025 from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

The program offered students valuable exposure to real-world economic and financial practices. Key topics discussed included Recent Economic Developments in Sri Lanka and the Conduct of Monetary Policy, Personal Financial Management, Digital Financial Literacy, Pyramid Schemes, and Financial Consumer Protection.

Experts from the Central Bank led interactive sessions, providing both professional insights and practical guidance. Students gained knowledge on managing personal finances, identifying financial risks, and understanding the wider role of monetary policy in shaping the country’s economy.

The event inspired students by linking academic learning with practical expertise, strengthening their financial awareness, and preparing them for future professional and personal decision-making.
