The 2023/24 intake of students in Applied Sciences officially began their academic journey on 3rd July 2025, marking a significant milestone in their pursuit of higher education at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Faculty of Technology Auditorium, bringing together students, parents, and well-wishers to celebrate the beginning of this new chapter. The event was honoured by the presence of the Acting Vice Chancellor, along with the deans of the faculties and other academic and non-academic members of the university.

Welcoming the new cohort, the Faculty expressed its commitment to guiding students toward knowledge empowerment, leadership, and service to society. This inauguration not only marked the beginning of an academic journey but also symbolized the start of a transformative experience where students will cultivate skills, values, and aspirations to excel in their chosen paths.
