The Club Opening Day was successfully held on 05th August 2025 from 1.30 PM to 5.30 PM, in front of the Career Guidance Unit (CGU) of the University. The event brought together the energy, creativity, and enthusiasm of our undergraduates, marking an important step in strengthening student engagement and extracurricular involvement.

The program was graced by the presence of the Acting Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. P.H.D. Janaka Pushpakumara, and the Director, Career Guidance, Dr. (Ms.) H.O. Wijewardane, whose support and encouragement added great value to the occasion.

A total of six student clubs namely Rotaract, AISEC, Gavel, InFocus, Zero Plastic and Hiking participated, showcasing their vision, activities, and achievements with the prime objective of creating awareness among undergraduates about the diverse opportunities available through clubs. The event also provided an open space for students to obtain memberships and join communities aligned with their interests and passions.
