Academic Staff Induction Programme – Staff Development Centre

The Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the Academic Staff Induction Programme was held on 14 May 2026, under the distinguished patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Bandula Jayathilake.

Eight academic staff members who successfully completed the 2025 Academic Staff Induction Programme were formally presented with their Certificate of Teaching in Higher Education (CTHE) at the ceremony.

The Vice Chancellor congratulated all certificate recipients and emphasized the importance of translating the knowledge and skills gained through the induction programme into effective practice — both as educators and as administrators contributing to the university’s development.

The ceremony was attended by the Deans of the Faculties, the Director of the Staff Development Centre, the Librarian, and the Registrar, reflecting the university’s collective commitment to the continuous professional development of its academic staff.
