SLUG Closing Ceremony 2025
Rajarata University of Sri Lanka brought the curtain down on the 15th Sri Lanka University Games (SLUG) with a memorable closing ceremony, marking the successful completion of the event, proudly hosted for the first time. The ceremony took place on 21st August 2025 at the university grounds with the participation of vice-chancellors, academic and non-academic staff, and students from all the government universities across the country.
The evening was further alive with colourful cultural performances and traditional dances, reflecting the spirit of unity and diversity among the nation’s universities.
The conclusion of the 15th SLUG was marked by a spectacular fireworks display, symbolizing not only sporting excellence but also the enduring values of unity, teamwork, and national pride.
