Towards a Healthy Harvest Free from Pests and Diseases

2020/2021 batch of the Faculty of Agriculture, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, proudly hosted “කෘෂි ප්‍රභා – Farmer Day 2025” on Thursday, 5th June 2025, from 8:00 a.m. onwards at the Faculty premises. This educational agricultural exhibition focused on empowering the farming community through knowledge-sharing, innovation, and collaboration.

The event addressed critical challenges faced by modern farmers, especially in areas such as soil health, pest control, and crop disease management. By combining foundational knowledge with emerging agricultural technologies, the initiative aimed to provide practical and sustainable solutions for the agricultural sector.

Agri Prabha 2025 featured interactive exhibits, live field demonstrations, and expert discussions, offering a hands-on learning experience for all participants. A key focus of the event was to promote agri-entrepreneurship and self-employment while encouraging farmers to embrace modern, eco-friendly farming methods.

The event brought together farmers, students, researchers, and industry experts, marking a significant step toward a resilient, sustainable, and innovation-driven agricultural future in Sri Lanka.
