වරිග මංගල්ලය 2025

The Opening Ceremony of the 8th Cultural Festival – වරිග මංගල්ලය 2025, proudly organized by the Arts Committee of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, was ceremonially held on 11th August 2025.

The event commenced with the lighting of the traditional oil lamp, followed by a series of eye-catching and vibrant performances that reflected the cultural diversity and artistic talents of the university community. The ceremony featured traditional dance, music, and drama items, harmoniously blending the rich heritage of Sri Lanka with the creative expressions of the younger generation.

Distinguished guests, academic staff, and a large gathering of students graced the occasion, creating an atmosphere filled with pride, festivity, and togetherness. The festival not only celebrated cultural richness but also highlighted the unity, creativity, and enthusiasm of the Rajarata University student body.
